Obituary
On Tuesday November 26, 2019, Robert Kane transitioned from this world to be with the lord, wife, and family members at the age of 91. Robert was born February 19, 1928 to the late George and Emma (Wiley) Kane at Mercer County New Jersey. Robert joined the Navy at a young age of 16 and would go on to serve two terms with an honorable discharge. Robert met the love of his life Mary FAndrien during his navy days. They would go on to be married on May 29, 1948. Robert worked odd jobs after the navy until landing his job at highline chicks as a truck driver. At which he worked many years until moving to Florida in 1980. Robert and Mary became members of First Baptist Church of Belleview.
Robert is survived by his late wife Mary F (Andrien) Kane; his eight children, Robert J Kane Phila Pa, George T. Kane Morrisville Pa, Emma M Coxhead Deforest WI, Frances A. Kane Malvern AR, Joann B Harringshaw Mariett SC, Steven D. Kane Pompano Beach FL, Raymond P. Kane Levittown Pa, and Linda M. Axe Belleview F1, 31 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren. Robert will be remembered for his unconditional love, his gentle spirit, his forgiving nature and his never-ending smile. He was a man that talk to every person he walked by.
Arrangements are being prepared through Roberts Of Ocala Funerals and Cremations downtown 606 SW 2nd Ave Ocala, FL 34471.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 6, 2020 at 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Belleview 6107 SE Agnew Rd Belleview FL, 34420.
Interment Friday February 7, 2020 at 11:00 am Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513.

"My Father was a man of few words, more a man of action.He made sure his bride and 8 children always had something to eat, a feat in itself with 5 boys who loved to eat!Our friends were always welcome join in a meal, he would just peel more potatoes to make potato soup.I am proud he was my Pops, and he always beat me on all the Xbox games we played.Going to miss you Dad, say hi to Mom and give her hugs for me."
