Joseph Eugene Putnam, age 71 passed away as a result of a heart attack on April 10, 2019 in Ocala, FL.
He was born in Columbia, Tennessee to parents Mahlon Eugene Putnam and Joann Hill-Putnam.
He worked for Ocala Housing Authority for more than 20 years as a maintenance technician. He loved fishing and RVing with his wife. He was family man and loved spending time with his family.He was a very loving and devoted husband and father. A member of First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kathy Putnam, son Joseph (Joanna) Putnam Jr., Richardson, Texas, daughters, Ashley Putnam, Ocala, Hayley (Danny) Putnam, Pembroke Pines, FL., Rosemary Putnam, Cottondale, FL, Joanna (Bill) Tiner, Wylie, Tx, Sister, Nancy (Ed) Fite, Augusta, Georgia, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, sisters Rosemary, Ann (twin) and Penelope, daughter, Teresa Lynn.
