Kurt B. Vilendrer, 75, of Ocala, FL passed away suddenly Friday, January 25, 2019 at home. Kurt was born in Chicago, IL, on June 6th, 1943, the youngest of 7 to Marvin and Mildred Vilendrer. He was a long time resident of Manteno, IL, where he was the sales manager at C S Motors. He later moved to GA where he lived in Dawsonville and served as County Commissioner. He moved to Ocala, FL to enjoy his retirement. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, following politics and fishing with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Claire Vilendrer of Ocala, FL; 4 children, Renee Richardson (Ryan) of Cumming, GA; Dean Vilendrer of Manteno, IL; Mike Vilendrer (Kim) of Tinley Park, IL; and Diane Rewerts (Jerry) of Manteno, IL; 7 grandchildren, Madison and Riley Richardson of Cumming, GA; Emily, Ellen and Elise Vilendrer of Tinley Park, IL; Reece and Camden Rewerts of Manteno, IL; sisters Sharon Leide of Aurora, IL and Sandra Hering (Tom) of Norcross, GA. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He will be greatly missed by all.
