Donald Russell Grosso, 83 of Ocala passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born on August 19, 1934 in Buffalo, NY. Donald graduated from Seneca Vocational School in 1952and was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps serving in Korea from 1953-1956. Donald was a retired Postal Worker and former production supervisor for Trico Products of Buffalo, NY. He enjoyed bowling, golf and was a talented fast-pitch softball pitcher.
Donald was pre-deceased by his mother Mary Wisniewski and is survived by his son Donald J. Grosso(Rose Marie) of Belleview, FL, three grandchildren, Lena Jeffreys(Richard) of Ocala, Anthony Grosso (Nikole) of Sanford and Nicholas Grosso(Lindsy) of Tallahassee, eight great-grandchildren, Ricky, Alex and Celia Rose Jeffreys, Ava, Aiden and Landon Grosso, Connor and Ethan Grosso. His former wife Alyce of Belleview, FL and a step-brother Lawrence Pepero Franklin ofMA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:30am in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
