In loving memory of

Doug Thompson
May 22, 1968 - February 26, 2020

David Douglas Thompson, who never met a stranger, was known to most as Doug. Doug was a true patriot who lived for flag and family always. He selflessly served his loving wife, his 5 beautiful girls, and his 3 grand babies. He took so much joy in being a dad and pappy. Doug passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 51.

One could say Doug had all the good qualities. He is remembered as a smart and humorous man, who just had a gift for words. His stories never get old and had new life every time they were told. He always knew what to say, even if it took him awhile to say it.

Doug had a passion for music and guitar, but he also had some wicked skills on the air guitar and steering wheel drum.

His family and friends were truly blessed to share in his life. Doug will be missed and kept in our thoughts always.

Doug was proceeded in death by his father Ralph Graham Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Thompson; his mother, Linda Brumbelow Thompson; his five daughters, Sarah, Alyssa, Mellisa, Shay, and Brianna; his 3 grandkids, Elizabeth, Maddie, and Karson; his son-in-law, Kevin Mallard;his brother, Russell; his sister-in-law, Kim; his father-in-law, Buddy Yager Sr; his mother-in-law, April Yager; his brother-in-law, Buddy Yager Jr; his sister-in-law, Erica Yager; his nephews, Kyle, Brandon, James, and Eric; his nieces, Alexis, Callie, and Ashley.
