"Just now learning of Clay's passing. My husband and I worked with Clay when he worked for Conoco in Ponca City. Clay had the kindest heart and the biggest laugh and smile. He was a hard worker and a always a lot of fun to be around. We hadn't been in touch since we all went our separate ways back in the late 80's. Sending prayers and condolences to his family."

"Very heart broken to hear of Clay's passing. It's been a rough year for Q-Inline. I knew right away when Clay was in the office when I would hear that loud laugh and knew right away where to find him when looking for him. I will miss seeing Clay walking in our office holding his cup of coffee.Love and prayers to his family during this difficult time.We will all dearlymiss you Clay...."

"Clay was the most considerate and fun guy to be around. His laugh always made me smile, he always had a great story up his sleeve, and he made sure I was dropped off at every door and didn't have to walk anywhere when I was 8.5 months pregnant and on a work trip with him. He would go above and beyond to make everyone happy and it was a blessing to have known him for the short time I did."

Peter Smith wrote on Oct 24, 2019:

"For Clay: Sadly missed by all, but all the better for having known you and shared many a conversation and discussion, you could always lighten up and brighten an otherwise dull day. You didn't have to see Clay to know he was in the building and that brought a smile to the face and a good idea of what was coming. What a terrific guy who was so proud of his family, he shone as bright as a beacon every time he talked about the achievements of of Hannah and Dylan. Janie, Hannah and Dylan you are in our thoughts and prayers. Take Care knowing Clay is watching down on you."
