Guy Pruitt
January 12, 1937 - September 6, 2019

Lemuel Guy Pruitt, age 82, of Cumming, GA, passed away on September 6, 2019. He was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Lemuel owned and operated Guys Biscuit Barn, Guy Pruitts Tree Service, and Guy Pruitts General Store. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Diane Pruitt; granddaughter, Nicole Anderson; parents, Guy and Emma Pruitt; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Pruitt; children, Darlene (Terry) Barrett, Jimmy Pruitt, and Lesa (Frankie) Martin; sisters, Barbara Burnett and Virginia Burnett; grandchildren, Cortney (James) Garrigan, Chris (Amanda) Barrett, and Tabitha Thomson; and great grandchildren, Olivia, Colby, Lonnie, Nicole, and Brooke; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Pruitt will be held Monday, September 9,2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Tom Stradley and Rev. Clark Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave., Cumming, GA 30040 is in charge of arrangements.
