Betty Jo Rickett, 82, of Cumming passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother with a great sense of humor. She was ever the jokester with a heart larger than life itself and was always looking out for others. Betty enjoyed cooking great meals for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rickett; a son, James Luck; her grandson, Anthony Luck; and her parents, Jim and Ethel Mae Chastian.
Survivors include her; children, Wayne Luck of Cumming, Wanda (Luck) and Mike Letson of Dahlonega, Scotty and Mary Kendrix of Cumming; grandchildren, Tiffani and Robert Powell of Dahlonega, John and Amanda Luck of Cumming, Alicia and Rob Ringlehan of Niceville, FL, Allison Kendrix and her fiance of Ball Ground, Michael Gordon; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a number of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Cain and Rev. Mason Cain. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
