Tissi Smith wrote on Sep 28, 2019:

"I met Lamar when he attended U of TN back in 1963. We reconnected via email around 15 years ago, but I thought he was still in Kingsport. When did he move to GA?"

Brian Daniel wrote on Jun 5, 2019:

"For some years Trinity Baptist Church had three "Pastor Martin"s. 'Pastor Lamar' was a faithful guide into the Scriptures and is one of a very small handful of men whose messages we put on our website (see www.sg-audiotreasures.org/lm_index.htm ). "He being dead yet speaketh" - both by the memory of his Godly example and by his sermons. May the Head of the Church continue to give us such men."

Ginny Martin wrote on Jun 1, 2019:

"A truly beloved man and servant of God. A dear dear friend who will be missed greatly. Many prayers and much much love to Sue, Christy, Katie and Abby. Aunt Ginny Martin"

"Lamar was a dear friend and one of my teachers from the Trinity Ministerial Academy. My wife Monica and I have many blessed memories from our time together in Pine Bush NY and Northern New Jersey. We are sorry for the family and we will pray for God's peace and comfort to each of them. Love to you all at this time of grief - Bob and Monica Minto"
