His love for Geneva was so pure and true it was his dying wish to get her back home to her people. Even though the odds were against them making it back to Georgia he did just that. Even in a fragile health situation. The love they shared couldnt be separated by even death. Hopes and prayers he and his best friend and life long sweet heart are together somewhere in perfect health laughing."

Marlen E. Chastain age 80, of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. Marlen was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva McKinzie Chastain; his parents, Willard and Mattie Chastain; his sisters, Eva Lou Daniels and Althea Garner; his brother, Eston Chastain.
