Don Youngblood, 64, of Commerce, formerly of Cumming passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. Don was a good Christian man and a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Don is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tina Youngblood; his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Michael Youngblood and Kim Zamonis; a daughter, Pamela Spring Rogers; 6 grandchildren, Allyson Brooke Youngblood, A.J. Michael Youngblood, Tristan Nicholas Youngblood, Cody Tillmon Rogers, Kaylie Marie Zamonis, and Victoria Provendiza Zamonis; an identical twin brother, Ron Youngblood, a sister, Jenny Gordon, his adored baby dog, Simba; brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Sanford, Rev. Randy Richards and Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Youngblood will lie in state at the church beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of departure for the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dons name may be made in care of Kim Counter, 6705 Frix Road; Cumming, GA 30028.
Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
