Minnie Sarah Bruce
March 31, 1945 - September 9, 2018

Minnie Sarah Bruce, age 73, of Dawsonville, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at her home. Minnie was a member of Mercy Fellowship Church. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and dedicated her life to God and her children. She had a phenomenal strength, was sweet and the kindest loving person anyone could meet. This strength was seen with the passing of her parents, within months of each other, when Minnie was 16 years old. She loved her family and always wanted to make someone smile. Minnie loved gospel music. Her best advice for everyone was always put God first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Ralph and Nellie Jane Barber; sisters, Margaret Lily; brother, Wesley.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Bruce; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Dodd, Mark and Jeannie Dodd, Brian and Belinda Dodd, and Keith and Lori Dodd; brothers and sisters-in-law, Oliver Goonie and Diane Barber, Richard and Ann Barber; sister-in-law, Ella Barber; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don and Imogene Bruce, Evelyn and Sam Swann, Hoyt and Mary Bruce, Glen and Janie Bruce; grandchildren, Dustin (Lindsey), John Paul, Mark (Shelby), Kayla; great grandchildren, Allie, Peyton, Cayden, Jency; her puppy, Little Dog; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13th at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Garrett officiating Interment in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.

Flowers are appreciated, or donations may be made to Ingram Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.

Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements.

"Loved Minnie she was my mothers (Martha Brownlee) best friend that went to church to- gather they talked every day 2 and 3 times a day Minnie always telling Martha's girls how pretty we where we all grow to love Minnie she always had a smile on her face no matter how sick she was she would always smile and say I feel fine she walking the streets of gold with that smile on her face with no pain she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
