"I worked with Russell for several years at Chattahoochee and continued to keep in touch when he went to Northview. He would have me in stitches one minute with his tales and then give me some sage advice the next. Those years in the science department are some of my best memories. While it is hard to say good-bye, I am glad his long battle is over. I am praying for comfort for "Little Russell" (as he was known to us) and the rest of the family.Sandy Kirkpatrick, retired from Fulton Co. Schools"

"I am so sad my Florida best friend has passed away. In the past years we had not been too close but we did connect a couple of years ago and stayed in touch until he became so sick he could not reply. We were like brothers and lived together for several years. I even stayed with his parents when he left for Oglethorpe College in Atlanta. I will always remember our fun times. RIP my brother."
