"I write these words with a great sense of loss at the passing of a great human being and a wonderful friend. Malla and I re-connected after a gap of 35 years in 2008. The occasion was reunion of IIM Calcutta class of 1971-1973 (PGP 8th batch) encompassing Istanbul, Athens and island-hopping. Malla and Manjula planned an extension of the Istanbul visit and I am very glad that I joined them and experienced one of the most wonderful weeks in my life. I could leave all the planning and arrangements in their competent hands! We had planned the meet frequently -- we had even made ambitious plans to host the next PGP8 reunion in North America. Unfortunately, all those remained just fantasies.I pray to God to give Manjula and family strength and fortitude to bear such a loss and continue the good works."

"I was first introduced to Malla at Robert Bosch LLC a few years ago. We were in the middle of a HUGE growth transformation and Malla was introduced as our "sensei". I was terrified of him, lol. His presence was commanding, yet his demeanor- as calm as still waters. Little did I know what a kind, beloved soul Malla would turn out to be.
