"Kathy, our heart is broken so we can only imagine how bereft you feel. You will find out this weekend (if you didn't already know) how much you and David were loved and respected. I'm glad you have family to be with you. Know that we grieve along side you and will see you Saturday and Sunday. David was the kindest and gentlest soul I knew. His capacity for love and giving knew no bounds. You and he were perfect for each other. We love you and will help out in any way possible. David and Susan H (part of the 'birthday' crew)."
