"After reading of Martha's passing I just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have some fine memories with your family during my time at Longstreet. Calvin and Patsy, Marie and Billy, Kim, Kurt, and Lori the one thing I remember most was Martha's big smile. I know you will be thinking about that too."
"We will always have sweet memories of Aunt Martha. I (Susan) will always remember spending time during summer vacations at her home(she worked so hard to keep our white tennis shoes from Florida getting stained with Georgia red mud as she called it), going to church at Longstreet Baptist, the chitlon breakfasts, meeting all our family from extended places and those delicious homemade bisquits that Aunt Martha made. She spent days getting them just right for everyone to enjoy. She could make a yummy coconut cake too!! Aunt Martha was an awesome aunt with a sweet heart and never new a stranger. She is already missed! Uncle Wansley, all her family she had missed & were already in Heaven, including none other but "Jesus Christ" were waiting with open arms at those pearly gates for Martha to come home. With deepest sympathy to all the entire family. We love you and you are in our prayers."
