Marie Dooley
October 30, 1930 - March 6, 2016

Mrs. Marie Dooley, age 85, of Cumming, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Marie enjoyed growing roses and was well known for her beautiful rose bed along Highway 9, north of Cumming. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll "Red" Dooley; son, Jeff Dooley; parents, Clifford and Estie Phillips; brother, Everett Phillips. She is survived by her children, John and Joy Dooley of Cumming, Allison and Bob Cumbo of Cumming, Mark Dooley of Dacula; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Dooley of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jennifer D'Agnese, Alice Mabe, Caren Dooley, William Holcomb, Emory Dooley, Paige Dooley, Matthew Dooley, Alaina Dooley; great-grandchildren, Ali Marie Mabe, Christian D'Agnese, Billy Holcomb; brothers and sisters, Carol and Inez Phillips, Margie Byers, Hazel and Louie Hansard, Ruthie and Junior Coker; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives survive. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Bridgeman and Rev. Carlton Coker officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
