"We have known Jack for over 17 years when he lived in Santa Rosa California. He was always full of energy and ideas, always enthusiastic about what he was doing or had done. Most always involved with some intense project. He would come by our shop and play bass with friends at shop parties. He cared deeply about his family Anna, Alex and Brigette. He told us he was so proud of both of his children when they entered college. When the family moved to Alpharetta Georgia, we didn't see so much of Jack and his family but tried to keep in touch. We visited the family one time in 2007. We went back to Atlanta and managed a side trip down to their home. As usual, Jack was actively engaged in his community, and the projects of course. We will really miss his unique blend of humor, energy and passion. Our condolences to family."

"Jack was one of the folks that made High School tolerable, and band REALLY fun. I'm happy that he followed his muse, and was able to continue to play throughout his lifetime. He will be sorely missed in many places on both the East and West Coasts, and everywhere in between. Peace and positive thoughts to his wife and daughters, his sister, and all of us who knew him."

"Jack will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He touched lives with his intellectual and honest character. For a brief time living in RWC I was blessed to run in the same circle of friends. He was sweet and he always looked after everyone, making sure the girls felt safe (driving us home) and he kept the boys in line too (lol). I'm honored to have known him and look forward to the day we'll be seated at the same table again. Peace & Love to his wife & family. He's resting now, your guardian angel."

"I was fortunate to play in the same jazz band as Jack in high school. He was an outstanding musician, always fun to be around, and like anyone who knew him for any length of time, I have several crazy stories about Jack and the things he did. He was a friend to everyone he met, and his zest for life came through in everything he did. My deepest condolences go out to his friends and family. Even though I hadn't seen him for several years, I know I'll miss him deeply."
