"I was saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. I am friends with her brother, Mark, although I knew Cheryl from our childhood, as well. I don't really have words to express anything except tell you of my deep sympathy for what you all must be enduring. I can only imagine the pain all of you (family and friends) are going through. My heart goes out to all of you. Please know I said a heartfelt prayer on behalf of Cheryl and to honor her. Additionally, I put her name on our prayer chain at our synagogue. Prayerfully sending you blessing of shalom during this time. Sharon Leslie Bain"

Lisa Trantham wrote on Apr 30, 2015:

"Dear Jay and Joey and family, I was saddened today to learn of Cheryl's passing, and I am so sorry for your loss and all you have been through. The world seems a little less bright today without her. She was such an amazing person, I never met anyone like her. She was so all-out enthusiastic about everything (especially Joey), so unfailingly positive, so crazy-funloving, and so super-smart and good at everything. I was a little jealous sometimes! I would have loved to see her again, but I hope she and you will forgive me, I kept hesitating because I did not want to interfere with your remaining precious time together. I told her I would pray for all of you, and I have every day. I will continue to pray for God to give you peace and comfort in the sure knowledge that she is alive and well with him, more alive and well than she's ever been, and that you will see her again. Yesterday was just the first day of forever for her. Much love, Lisa Tilman Trantham "
