Brandon Weaver

Brandon Weaver, 37, of Dawsonville, GA died tragically this November but will forever be remembered as a great husband, father, friend, and coach for many of the youth in the community. Brandon was born at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA on January 24, 1977 and was raised in Cumming, GA. After graduating from South Forsyth High School in 1995, he continued his stellar football career first at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, GA and ultimately finishing his playing days at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD where he received his bachelor's degree in 2001. On December 20, 1998 Brandon married the former Heather Buice of Cumming, GA at Daves Creek Baptist Church where he would become an active member after accepting Jesus Christ as his savior in January 1996. He was viewed as a cornerstone of the church serving in many different capacities while having a natural affinity for serving and leading the youth. After graduating from Dakota Wesleyan University, Brandon would excel in a sales career most recently with Empire Distributors, Inc.; however he will be most remembered for his unwavering passion and love for his three boys Kinkade, Briggs, and Gunnar. His number one mission was to shower his boys with love and this enabled Brandon to be a beacon of light in their lives. Brandon's profound charisma with his remarkable ability to lead, teach, and motivate was also witnessed by all of the young athletes who participated in the Dawson County Parks and Recreation sports programs. His unbridled zeal for life and his ability to lift up others will forever have a lasting impact on all of those his life touched. He is survived by his wife Heather and sons Kinkade, Briggs, and Gunnar, his parents Alan and Rita and his brother Richmond. His life will be celebrated with services to be held on Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 at 2 PM at Daves Creek Baptist located at 1400 Old Atlanta Rd., Cumming, GA 30041 with a graveside service immediately to follow. I'm not sure what blessings God will turn this tragedy into but I know he will, he always does. I'm very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Weaver Family. "Memories Heather, It's been many years however, my memories of you and Brandon are vivid in my mind.  I first met you both when I dated Dan at DWU.  You guys allowed me to stay at your apartment when I would come to visit.  I enjoyed getting to know you both and I have often thought of you through the years.  I learned of Brandon's tragic death through Dan's FB page and wanted to reach out to you and tell you how truly sorry I am for your loss.  Brandon was one of a kind with true southern kindness.  I pray for you and your three beautifuly boys that you will feel the love and suport of everyone that knew Brandon during this very difficult time.  I have no doubt that he will guide them from above.  I am grateful that I got to meet you both and I will hold my memories of you both in my heart.  I included a picture of all of us at a DWU football game.   Sincerely, Erin (Nacke) DiGiacomo"

"Kindness It's what comes to mind when I think of Brandon - kindness. I'll forever remember him and the Times we spent sharing stories of our families and our churches. Brandon was a great person to be around. Even when he knew his salesman side might have made someone angry, he made sure every encounter was ended with a smile and handshake. What a horribly tragic loss. I'm so very saddened for his family. Brandon truly was a one of a kind."

"Road WarriorI did haircuts for his boys and Heather called me at work and said I have an unusual request, I was like ooookkkkkk she said my husband Brandon and I are dressing up as Road Warrior and ....Can you cut his hair to look like that, of course I was like sure send him in. From the first time I shook his hand to the time he walked out, I was in stitches, he genuinely was a super fun guy and she sent me pictures afterwards. What I remember the most about him is how much he loved his family, how he said Heather puts up with him and he oooozed love for his boys, he will truly be missed and my family is praying for your family."

"Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences. Please call on us if you all need anything. 1 Peter 1:3-7 3. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4. and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5. who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faitha"of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by firea"may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."
