"Dear Donna, Words can somehow reach us when nothing else can in the midst of the deepest grief. There is something about the feelings that people share when they communicate with us in the midst of such despair that touches our very soul, and comforts us. Somehow, it gives us the strength to get through the next few moments, the next few hours, an afternoon, until we can get through a full day. Before long, a week has passed. One day, we wake up to find that we have built up enough strength through faith, love and friendship, that we can begin to live not in the shadow of grief, but in the light that shines from our memories. Just like the memories you have of Scott. Your son's light will shine on through you, Donna. May God grant you comfort and peace, and may you lean on those who love and care for you to provide the strength you need until you find strength again within yourself. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Much love, Lisa"

"Dear Hannah and Family, please know that all your friends from FFA are thinking of you all and praying that you will feel the love and comfort that God is sending in response to our prayers for you. Know that we love you. We know it will take time but we hope that before too long you can let the love of the good memories help to heal the hurt. Blesed is he whose hope is in the Lord his God...who remains faithful forever. Let us know how we can help."
