"I have just learned of Bob's passing. My deepest sympathy is extended to the family and also to Bob's church family. I am a Christian Educator who worked at Cokesbury and The United Methodist Publishing House and often spoke by phone with Bob about curriculum for the Sunday School classes at Union Hill UMC. It was a privilege to work with him as he selected curriculum for the classes. I was very impressed by his dedication to teaching and to the Sunday School program at Union Hill. He also sent a drama about the Judgement that he had written for my review. I was most impressed with his writing and encouraged him to have the play published by one of the publishers specializing in church drama. I am sure he is missed by not only his family but also the wonderful church family at Union Hill UMC."

"My sincerest condolences on the loss of Mr. Waugh. Though I haven't seen him, nor Toni, since the sixth grade at Clubview (and Meadowbrook Stables) some 42 years ago, nor seen Bob since my graduation from dental school in 1984, I would certainly agree that his children were a great accomplishment. My prayers go out to all your family in the days and weeks ahead. Sincerely, Dickie Straus, Columbus, GA"
