Catherine Gee, age 51, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012. She was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Willard Fowler and Viola Buice. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Tiffany Gee of Cleveland, Josh and Lindsay Gee of Gainesville; brothers and sister-in-law, Randall Fowler of Rockmart, Eddie and Tammie Fowler of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Hugh Martin of Cumming, Martha and Samir Jordak of Buford, Dale and Randy Bennett of Cumming, Doris Hester of Dahlonega, Dianne Smith of Cumming, Linda and Jerry Vaughan of Dawsonville, Patricia Hubbard of Cumming; grandchildren, Kylie Allen and Matthew Gee along with other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Daves Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cantrell and Rev. Johnny Eubanks officiating. Inurnment will follow at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. "April Fool's Day years agoBack years ago Catherine & I decided to glue quarters to the floor of where we work. Just to watch people see if they could pick them up. It was hilarious. We also (and this was Catherine's idea) took play dough the color of Werthers candy and wrapped in wrappers we saved. We put those fake candies everywhere. I think a couple of people actually tried to eat them. Those were good times. I will never forget us doing that. We laughed til we cried. That was good times with Catherine. That's the memory I want to remember her by. Good Bye Catherine. Rest in peace now."
