"The highlight of working with the Houston Medical Center was my relationship with Mr. Weinmeister. Cheryl (and family) he was a real jewel. I enjoyed every day. Many times I saw the soldiers. It was a real joy to work with him and it broke my heart when he left for Oklahoma. We lost some great people when those guys left. Chery, it will only be a temporary separation. We will see him again in perfect health. Love you all."

"Grandmother's Farm in Buena VistaI remember Karl and I playing at Grandmother Phillips farm in Buena Vista, GA. He was about 10 or 11 and I was about 5 or 6 years old. While at the farm, he would take me on little adventures. We once went on a hiking trip without any supplies (water and food) so when we got thirsty, Karl said we could did a hole in the ground and find water. After about thirty minutes of digging with our hands and sticks we gave up. As we headed back home, we encountered a Bob Cat in a tree! I thought it was a big cat with no tail But Karl warned me to stay clear of the cat. He would always have a box full of toy soldiers for us to play with. He would set up battle scenes and tell me how to deploy the men to the best position on the battle field. We spent many hours playing in the dirt! I also remember Grandmother having an old wooden fishing boat in the back yard. Karl and I would play in it and pretend we were at sea. Karl would be the captain and I was the deck hand. It was great fun......he made everything seen so real at the time. I will miss him. He was the best cousin anyone could ever have!"
