Mr. Will E. Frix, age 77, of Cumming passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 at his home following a long illness. Mr. Frix was in the plumbing and electrical business for over 45 years. He was a member and Deacon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a member and Past Master of Ducktown Lodge #572. Mr. Frix was also an original member of Station 4 of the Forsyth County Volunteer Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Vivian Frix and 2 sons, Gary and Greg Frix. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mike Pruitt; son, David Frix, all of Cumming; 6 grandchildren, Tara Kirby, Terry Pruitt, Dana Tapley, Diana Gay, Hannah Frix and Matthew Frix; 11 grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Betty Frix of Dahlonega; sisters-in-law, Merine Frix, Claudie Frix and Joyce Frix, all of Cumming; special friends, Tena and Scott Wheeler. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Mike Pruitt, Rev. Vernie Worley and Rev. Terry Pruitt officiating. Interment, with Masonic Rites, will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
