"God gave us memory so we may have roses in December." - J.M. Barrie
Karie enjoyed her fur babies the most, traveling the U.P., hiking and camping. She spent most of her days reading and writing poetry or out in the garden with the flowers. She was also an avid Houston Rockets fan.
Karie simply loved to be surrounded by her family, small family gatherings were treasured. Her nieces fondly remember all the fun times throughout the years spent singing, dancing and gardening with their only aunt. Karie will be remembered for her laughter, fantastic sense of humor and big heart. Her profound spirituality and faith guided her through life and will now guide us in her passing.
A million words would not bring you back, I know because I've tried. Neither would a million tears, I know because I've cried.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Jason Reese; her fur babies, Lily, Marcella and Junior; her parents, Robin and Sam Garrow; siblings, Kristie Reynolds and Todd Reynolds; nephew, Kalob Reynolds; nieces, Chelsie Reynolds (Jared) and their children, Kingston, Kennedy and Knightly, and Kayla Aikins (Joseph) and their daughter, Anna; mother-in-law, DeeAnn Reese; uncle, Mike Dickerson and son, Payton; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Reynolds; her paternal grandparents, Raynor and Alice Reynolds; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Marilyn Paquette; her husband's grandparents, Carl and Ruth Dickerson; uncle, Charles Pat; and cousin, Kenton Karmo.
