David & Mary Jane Helton wrote on May 2, 2018:

"Jesus understands our sorrow at this bittersweet moment, as He wept (Jn 11:35) at the same event which temporarily separates us from Andy Griffin, so beloved by his family and friends, and so highly respected by the community. Yet, despite His tears, as fully human in His Incarnation, our Divine Savior proclaimed, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live (Jn 11:25). Despite our grief, this is a glorious moment for Andy: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" (Ps 116:15). For "our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body" (Phi 3:20-21). Jesus promised, for those who have repented of their sin and trusted Him for salvation (Jn 3:16), to prepare a place in Glory (Jn 14:3), where "death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore" (Rev 21:4)."
