In loving memory of

AMARAH ELAYNE FILIZETTI
September 10, 2010 - September 4, 2015

Amarah Elayne Filizetti, age 4, of Gwinn, entered heaven and became one of God's special angels, Friday morning, September 4, 2015, at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her life started with three hearts beating as one. One heartbeat is missing, along with a piece of each sister's personality.

She was born September 10, 2010, in Marquette, 3 minutes behind Laila and 1 minute after Missy, the triplet daughter of Wayne and Stacey (Smith) Filizetti. Amarah means "Eternally Beautiful" and she truly lived up to that meaning.

Amarah loved singing, dancing and her teddy bear "Monkey". She loved swimming, cheerleading, Barbie's and everything pink. She would spend days in her favorite princess dress with a tiara and loved wearing goofy headbands, especially her leopard print ears. She loved playing with her sisters and they were inseparable. She shared a very special relationship with her sisters Laila and Missy; a triplet connection is a bond that cannot be measured in words. She started her life as a fighter, the one that had to struggle the hardest. She was the tiniest of the triplets, but had the biggest heart. Her sweet, gentle presence will be treasured by all whose life she touched. Amarah was the kind of child that caught your attention with her sweet sheepish smile, which seemed to quietly say, "I'm up to something". She loved being with her family and treasured the time she had with her Mom, Dad, sisters and brothers. She loved being her Daddy's little "Kiss Monster". Amarah was a fun loving character, who enjoyed teasing and being playful with everyone she met. Her sweet "Betty Rubble" giggle will always be remembered and treasured. Those beautiful deep brown eyes were remarkable in a way that cannot be forgotten. They could get her anything she wanted. Those who met her could not help but notice her beautiful, bright and shining presence. She has left her mark on this world, even though her stay on earth has been cut short. Her family will remember her as "their sweet little peanut". They are thankful for the almost five years they had with their beautiful little angel.

She is survived by her parents Wayne & Stacey Filizetti; siblings, Steven (Kelsey), Mikol, Joshua, Laila and Melissa Filizetti; maternal grandmother, Sarah Smith of Gwinn; paternal grandparents, Danny & Wanda Davis of Gwinn; aunts and uncles, Marcia (Tom) Glass of Kenosha, WI, Jack Filizetti of Rapid River, MI, Linda Filizetti of Canton, MI, Jennifer (Michael) Niehaus of Gwinn, Cory (Kathryn) Smith of Skandia, Lindsey Howe of Ishpeming, John Davis of Baraga, Beth Koski of Baraga, Deanna (Steve) Foucault of L'Anse, Donna (Mark) Mankowicz of England, Danny (Andrea) Davis, Jr. of England and Shawn (Charlotte) Davis of England; her first cousins; Destiny, Eila, Johnathon, and Lucas. Her grandfathers, Vern Filizetti and Kevin Smith, preceded her in death.

The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Superior Christian Church. A memorial service will follow the visitation, with Pastor Brandon Morey officiating. A luncheon will be served after the service, with a time for fellowship and remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Amarah E. Filizetti Memorial Fund at any Honor Credit Union.

The Canale-Gwinn Funeral Home is assisting the family where memories may be shared at canalefuneral.com.
