Robert E. "Bob" Ennesser Jr., 88, of Republic, MI, formerly of Round Lake Heights, IL died peacefully Friday, November 7, 2014.
He was born on April 25, 1926, in Chicago, IL, to Robert E. Ennesser, Sr. and Ethel (Flynn) Ennesser.
He served our country in the Army and he was a veteran of World War II.
Bob was employed at Johnson Motors, a division of Outboard Marine Corporation in Waukegan, IL for 30 years, retiring in 1978. Afterwards he worked for Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, IL until 1990 when he retired for the second time.
Upon retirement, Bob built a home on Squaw Lake in the north woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he lived for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his sons Robert (Ann) Ennesser III and Joseph (Gina) Ennesser, all of Winthrop Harbor, IL; daughter Julie (Tom) Pawlak of Palatine, IL; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ethel Ennesser and three sisters, Virginia Taylor, Doris Romano and Frances O'Donnell.
