"Our thoughts are with the Hendrickson family. While we never had the pleasure to meet George, he raised a fine son in Curtis. Much love to you all as you share the many wonderful memories of a life well lived."

"My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. I'm sorry I can not be there to express my sympathy in person. George and I became good friends, meeting many times at the post office, talking for a long time on the street. I always thought how nice it was that he took the time to chat with me and I enjoyed our talks, and for that I am happy. I saw George several times in his last weeks and he was always smiling and ready to chat, even if he wasn't feeling good or able to eat much, there was always that kind, gentle smile, never complaining. Inez you were a wonderful caretaker, loving nurse, and constant loving companion for George and he knew he was loved by many. Take comfort that his last days were filled with his wonderful family and beautiful grandchildren. I am always just a phone call away."
