JAMES J. (JIM) SCHILLINGER
August 11, 1953 - July 14, 2012

James J. "Jim" Schillinger, 58, a resident of Rosemount, Minnesota and formerly of Marquette, died Saturday evening, July 14, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Jim was born in Marquette on August 11, 1953 to Jerome L. and Edna K. Schillinger. He was a 1971 graduate of Marquette Senior High School, attended the NMU Skill Center and Northern Michigan University. He was employed at Century College in Minnesota.

He is survived by a son, Russell Schillinger of Yorktown, VA; daughter, Paige Schillinger of Rosemount, MN; a sister, Joanne Schillinger of Marquette, MI; former wives, Sandra Russell and Rhonda Schillinger; special friend, Cheryl Evans; his colleagues at Century College, as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim loved the outdoors and will find his final place of rest in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. He will be forever loved and missed.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 2nd from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Park Cemetery.
