"Dear Family, I would like to express my sorrow at the loss of Bill, your dear and loving father and grandfather. I came to know this gentleman while he took care of your mother through her long and terrible illness. Even though he was exhausted, he would stay by her side and watch over her. While I was caring for Mary Ann, he and I had many a conversation about politics, grandkids, sports, and whatever else came up during those seemingly endless hours he spent at the hospital. I was always impressed with how much he loved and respected her and how much he enjoyed his family. His love for all of you was evident. Im sure Bills loss is devastating to you all, but I know hes with his beloved Mary Ann now and I hope you find comfort that they are together again. Again, I am so sorry for your loss."
