God knew how much we loved you, But still he took you away. We still miss you as much today, But now we understand God makes us - and its up to him, When he takes our hand Our prayers for your family & friends. Love, Bob & Kris Sibley Family"
"In memory of Maximilian, I was one of the first persons to see Maximilian after his birth on June 1, 2011. As with every newborn infant, I was stunned by his cry for life, his beautiful eyes (the windows to the soul), and his perfect body. I remember telling Maxs parents that he was going to be the light of their lives. Now when I look up to heaven, I will see his light, his star burning bright over all of us. I feel privileged to have known and cared for Maximilian. He will always be in my/our hearts. Dr. Julia I. Frei and the staff at the NICU Marquette General Hospital"

"Dear Edie, Neil and family, We are so sorry for the loss of your sweet son Max. I cannot imagine the pain you must be feeling. Though I only met Max through your postings and pictures, I felt like I got to know the beautiful little boy who was born screaming as a baby should. My heart aches for you all and this unfathomable loss. I am glad that his extra chromosome helped you connect to our fledgling Upper Peninsula Down Syndrome Association parent support group so we had a chance to get to know your wonderful family and then also mighty Max. He will always be in our midst, and forever missed. Always, Cathy Dehlin and family"
