"Diane and Tom, Loosing someone you love is never easy! Alzheimer's disease is NOT easy, not easy to watch a parents mind leave them. I am sure, she is enjoying your Dad and also, not confused any more! Hold on to thoughts like that when you are missing her. Know of my thoughts and prayers!"
"We are all very sorry for your loss, but your mom is now at peace and the best parts of her will always remain alive in each of you. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers."
"Tom and Maki Family: Hugs and sympathy to all of you. Many good memories of your mom. Losing a parent is never easy, our thoughts and prayers are with you this week and in the days to come. Love, Darrel and Bobbi"
"To all of the Maki's - I was so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know that you all have walked quite a journey home with both of your parents and I know how hard that is in many ways. It's mentally and emotionally exhausting, it's hard on all of the children as well as each of your families. It's also so very heartbreaking watching them go and the only thing that we can do is help them on their journey home. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your hearts mend as you all gather and laughter fills the air as you remember them. Take care and know that I am thinking of you all. My personal memory of them is going on one hockey trip after another, wasn't that just the life that we were all living... Keep their memory tucked in your hearts forever for that is where you will always find them. Tricia LaFave-Guidebeck"
