"Adam was a great kid and I'll always have fond memories of our many hours of talking music and our trips to catch a few concerts. I learned a lot about him in those many hours driving across the Midwest. Adam was a more special kid than he would ever admit to, with not only a gift for music but a great sense of humor and a desire to make people happy. Music was just his most proficient tool and so the one that attracted the most attention, but he offered so much more. Those who knew him best will cherish the memories they have and the joy he brought to their lives, and it's a testament to Jan and Steve that their son was that kind of positive force. Take comfort in that and know that you are loved and in the countless thoughts and prayers of all whom Adam touched, including Anna and me. He lives on in his music and in all of our memories."
