Barbara J. Pintello, 82, of 287 South River Drive, Gwinn, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Marquette General Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Pintello was born on November 24, 1927 in Bellows Falls, Vermont, a daughter of the late Charles J. and Margaret (Gallagher) Gillis.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years, John J. Pintello of Gwinn; one daughter, Denise Pintello of Hyattsville, MD; also three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents was a daughter, Frances in 1999; a son, Frank in 2006; two sisters, Mary Griffin and Margaret Pintello; also two brothers, Charles Gillis, Jr. and Robert Gillis.
At Mrs. Pintellos request, there will be no visitation or services. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are kindly asked to consider St. Judes Childrens Hospital in her memory.
