"To Michael and Family, Kathy was one of those individuals who embraced your very being the moment you met and you knew you were going to be "buds". I so enjoyed working with her during my years as Township Manager. The people of Marquette Township were very fortunate to have her as their Clerk for so many years. She was always there for the staff and made the Township Hall a special place to work. In her service on the Township Board, in my opinion, she always got it just right. While you will be so sadly missed, I trust a little bit of your warmth and joy will live on in each of us who knew you. Kathy, it was indeed a pleasure."

"Wendy, Colleen and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom, I just heard and am so sorry that I didn't learn in time to attend her funeral. Both of you girls know that your Mom and I shared so many laughs throughout our years at the bank and I will forever cherish those memeories. Just this past spring, we saw each other at a party and laughed and laughed at all of the things we've been through together. I was honored to work with your Mom and remember feeling blessed that I was able to move onto teaching and have both of you girls in my class. I will forever miss your Mom, but I do know....she's looking down on us and telling us to get out there and live life! My deepest sympathy, Mary Micklow"
