"Jim and Gwen, I know how much of yourselves you gave to Larry in supporting and caring for him for so many years. May all your sacrifices leave you with feelings of satisfaction for having provided safety, comfort and enjoyment to him. And may you enjoy the freedom to come and go as you please now that he is in God's hands. You are both deserving of all the best that life has to offer. May God reward you with the blessings of good health, each other, peace of mind, and contendedness all the rest of your days. glenn"

"Your unselfishness and dedication to Larry and providing for him to have the fullest life possible was evident to all who knew him. He was a lucky man and he will be missed. God bless you in this difficult time."
"I still pause outside Jim's former office in Gries to listen for Larry's joyous exclamations as he works on a favorite puzzle or munches a sandwich. His exuberance and his ability to be right in the moment were such rare gifts. And who wouldn't fondly remember his squabbles with Jim as they walked down the hallways? Ah, brothers!"
"Dear Jim and Gwen, I am sad to hear of Larry's passing. My thoughts are with you at this time. May you be comforted by happy memories and by the satisfaction of helping Larry have an enjoyable life. I will truly miss his friendly face in the audience at future concerts. Sincerely, Catherine LeGrand"
"Jim and Gwen, Although Larry has passed away, there nevertheless is much about which to rejoice regarding his life. Perhaps the biggest, best thing is that he had the two of you to care for him and about him. May God bless Larry and both of you. Gary and Deborah Reeves"

"To Larry's family, I'm very saddened to hear about Larry's passing. I drive for Marq-Tran and in the past I use to drive Larry to Marquette on the bus, it has been many years since I have had that shift but I always looked forward to seeing Larry. You have my deepest sympathy. Laurie"
"Dr.Livingston and Family, So sorry to hear about Larry's passing. Whenever I would go to Jims office to clean it and Larry was there I would say "how are you?" and he would always reply with the same answer, "I'm good" One time after saying that Jim retorted "He's always good" I got a big chuckle out of that!"
"Dear Jim & Gwen, I was saddened by the news of your dear brother's passing. I always loved seeing Gwen holding Larry's hand at Choral Society rehearsals. He was a blessed man to have you two wonderful caregivers in his life. In sympathy, (alto choral singer)"
