HARRY PAUL DAVIS, JR.
March 15, 1956 - March 4, 2007

Harry Paul Davis, Jr., age 50, of 181 N. Oak Street, Gwinn, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 4, 2007.

Mr. Davis was born on March 15, 1956 in Omak, Washington to Harry and Ruth (Johnson) Davis, Sr. After graduating from Okanogan High School, Harry attended Wenatchee Valley College. He married the former Holly C. Ramey on June 14, 1980 in Omak, Washington.

Harry worked as a foreman with Omak Wood Products from 1977 until 1998. He moved to the Gwinn area in February of 2001 and began working as a supervisor for Louisiana Pacific Company for two years. Harry then started a truck driving career with the Schneider Trucking Company.

He enjoyed coaching baseball, computer games and driving truck. Harry was an avid outdoorsman who liked to cut wood with his family. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Davis; his wife, Holly C. Davis of Gwinn, MI; one son, Matthew Davis of Marquette, MI; one daughter, Courtney Davis of Gwinn, MI; two sisters, Sandra (Tony) Peterson of Okanogan, WA and Beverly (Scott) Harrison of Walla Walla, WA; one brother, Dale (Marla) Davis of Omak, WA. Many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews also survive. Preceding him in death was his father Harry Paul Davis, Sr. and one brother John OBrien.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church located at 425 4th Avenue South, Okanogan, Washington 98841.
