Tributes

Edward R. Kittrell wrote on Apr 6, 2009:

"Ed was quite unlike anybody that I've met. He always enjoyed company and had hundreds of stories to tell us when we were visiting. He's been to so many places and done so many things and when he'd tell us about them, it was like you were there with him. He talked about his girls all the time and how much he loved them. Ed was wonderful and we will miss him so much. We love you Ed and are heartbroken that you're no longer with us."

Ricky and Jackie wrote on Apr 6, 2009:

"The December 17th tribute was from Rick and Jackie."

Sharon Stack-Wiggins wrote on Apr 6, 2009:

"Please forgive the tardiness of these condolences as I just learned -- quite by accident-- that your father had died nearly a year ago. My husband Jerry and I own a garden and gift shop in Michigamme; I think you might recognize the name Blooming Bay, as your dad often purchased food items for "his girls." It is through the shop that we came to know your dad and to look forward to his visits...learning about what he loved best, his daughters and his music, and enjoying his sense of humor and friendliness. We will continue missing him as we did this summer because we enjoyed him immensely. It saddens us both to know that he isn't livening up whichever corner of the world he's in. Please accept our deepest sympathy at this late date...sorrow, though, has no deadline, and we thought you might like to know how much your dad is remembered. (I'm sorry we never met...he always promised to bring in "the girls" when you came to visit.)"
