Jim is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Wanda Leach, brothers-in-law Gavin (Robin) Leach, Bill Leach (fianc Liz Grenke), Jenny ( Mike Thiel ). Jim also has several nieces and nephews. His mother Dorothy E. Parker and sister Janie M. Parker preceded Jim in death.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful care-givers of Lake Superior Hospice Association who provided Jim and Cindy with the much needed help during his disease. Cindy offers a special thanks to Dr. Skendzel who was there for them from the beginning, and all of their wonderful family, and friends who helped them laugh.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2002, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home followed by services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Mark Engle of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will take place in the Park Cemetery.
