Patrick L. Sadler
August 10, 1931 - April 26, 2002

Patrick L. Sadler, 70, of 1005 W. Bluff Street, Marquette, died Friday evening April 26, 2002 at Marquette General Hospital where he had been hospitalized a short while.

Mr. Sadler was born on August 10, 1931 in Newberry, Michigan to Earl and Veda (Pawley) Sadler. His working career was spent with the United States Air Force retiring in 1979 with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years of devoted service. Upon retiring, he and his wife, Ann, moved to Marquette and had lived here ever since. He was a member of St. Christophers Catholic Church.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife, the former Ann Marie Tremblay whom he married on June 9, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rudyard, Michigan; six children, Richard (Bonnie) Sadler of Kingsford, Michael Sadler of Atmore, AL, Debra (Doug) Liberty, Lorrie (Greg) McAuliffe and Cathy (Dave) DeRocher, all of Marquette, and Sherry (David) Dodendorf of Leslie, MI; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson; his mother Veda Sadler of Seney, MI; two brothers, Donald Sadler of Seney and Michael (Peggy) Sadler of Munising; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Earl Sadler; an infant son, Patrick Sadler, Jr.; also a granddaughter, Candance Sadler.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church in Germfask followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Glenn Theoret officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at North Rudyard Cemetery in Rudyard. Mr. Sadlers nephews will act as his escorts.
