Catherine Bonamie
November 17, 1914 - March 26, 2002

Catherine Bonamie, 87, of 304 Meeske Avenue, Marquette, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at her home.

Mrs. Bonamie was born on November 17, 1914 in Marquette to the late John and Mary (Yokel) Fortuna and had been a lifelong Marquette resident. She was employed by the Stanley W. Elder Agency as office manager for 40 years. Catherine was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Chabock of Plainfield, NJ; one niece, Mary Della Sala of Plainfield; two great nieces, Joan Pate of Scotch Plains, NJ and Carolyn Della Sala, Plainfield, NJ; also surviving is a great nephew, John Della Sala of Plainfield. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Llewlyn Bonamie in October of 1980.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Jed Patrick officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

The Canale-Tonella Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
