"To my dear friend Lisa---just know that i am thinking of you and your family, and hope that you are strong thru all of this. Your father was a very wonderful and proud man and what a blessing it is for you to be able to say that and know how true it really is. The little time that i knew him, i could tell just how special he really is. And besides, he had to be, cause he's my friend Lisa's dad. Love you buddy----if you ever need to talk--you know where to find me. I'll see you soon. Love ya, Terri"
"Dear Pat, Kris, Lisa and Leslie: Sorry we can't be with you but we are with you in spirit. We have so many good memories of your parents. They are truly missed. Love, Chuck and Georgia"

"Our sympathy to all of the family. Gary was a friend and a professional who we were proud to have known and worked with."
"My sympathy is with all the children. I will miss his warm style."
"I was so shocked to hear that Gary passed away (it is so strange to call him Gary, I'm so used to him being Mr. Anderson.) He really was a wonderful person and I wish I'd had the chance to see him more recently. I know him and my dad, Ron, are all ready teeing it up and ready to golf. But first they need to have an argument about which team will be better this year- the Vikings or the Packers. Sorry, Dad, but I'll have to take Gary on this one :) I'd like to send my sincerest regrets to Gary's family and I will have you all in my prayers. Love, Jennifer"
"Gary will be missed by our family. Glen, Laura and Jennifer felt he was like a second father to them after their dad died in 1988. Gary always told the girls that he wanted to dance with them at their weddings. We are so sorry that he was unable to. Gary and Bev will live on in our hearts. Love Carolyn"
"You are all in my thoughts and prayers."
"Gary was a friend and we will miss seeing him when we visit Marquette"
