In loving memory of

Thomas T. Taylor

Tom passed away on July 31, after a hard fought 9 month battle with cancer.

Tom was born in Columbus Ohio to Jack and Margaret Taylor who precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his sisters Nancy and Jackie.

A military veteran, he served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany for 2 years.

Tom was a devoted Columbus Police Officer for 20 years and loved every day he served on the police force. There was nothing he took more seriously than the oath he took to "protect and serve" his community. He worked in different divisions of the Police Department but being a patrol officer and driving the streets of Columbus was his passion.

A car-nut to his core. Everything car related and especially watching all the Barrett-Jackson auctions in each city. Of course, his cars were clean and spotless and never he thought a clean car should be driven in the rain.

Survived by his wife Janet (Jan) Arrington-Taylor for 35 years. His niece Jodi Huffman and nephew Jeff Huffman and many friends, some of which were 4-legged. He loved pet sitting for clients and spoiling the dogs and cats he was responsible for.

Enough kindness and gratitude can never be said about his special friend Michael D. who made him laugh every day of the week and gave him hope and courage. Dan D. who made sure Tom got his favorite piece of mail every month and kept him entertained till the very end. Friend and next-door neighbor for exactly 27 years to the day, Elizabeth D. who showed him that every day matters.

Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. S. Mittal & Dr. M. Patel and all the staff at the Norton Thoracic Institute and the U. of A. Cancer Center for all their hard work and kindness.

Tom was the character everyone loved and he was loved by many people. We all miss him and his sense of humor.
