"Recently we received horrendous news of the passing of one of our dearest, old friends ? Robert. We have lost a truly unique spirit. He had two loves in his life: first his family ? Margaret, his wife; Deborah, Robert and Joseph, his children; and Alexander, Tanner and Arianna, his grandchildren, and second all his friends. He was one of the wisest people we know. Simplicity and practicality were his hallmarks. He dispensed his wisdom through humor, which explains why he was universally loved. My best comparison for Robert is Yogi Berra. Yogi would make a statement, and all would laugh, but then you would think about what he said. Upon reflection you realized how well Yogi understood the situation and offered sound advice. So too with Robert. ?It ain?t over ?till its over? dear Robert, until we meet again in a better place, we love you and will treasure our memories."

"Robert was a fun loving man who enjoyed his family, friends and good Italian food. He was very upbeat and enjoyed going to grandchildrens games and events. He was clever with his quips and friends enjoyed them . His wife adored him and was his biggest supporter. His family and friends will forever remember his smile.........a real Rlobert smile. We love you Robert and know that Marge has arranged a SPECIAL place in heaven for you. We will always remember your kindness and caring ways when we shared Arianna's games etc. You will be missed but never forgotten."
