November 4,1947 - April 16, 2018
Sherry Ann Ellett was born November 4, 1947 to Ralph and Lydia in the small mining town of Ajo, Arizona. Sherry was the first of four children, Nancy, Cathy, and Steven.
As a precocious young girl Sherry spent her days getting into innocent mischief with her two best friends Linda and Trudy. At an early age Sherry found a strong love for Jesus Christ, as her and Trudy unbeknownst to anyone started attending a small Lutheran church down the street from where they lived. At the age of 10 Sherry asked Jesus into her heart. At the age of 21 Sherry started working at The Department of Public Safety as a clerk where she met the love of her life Curtis Baer on a girls company softball team, of which Curt so graciously volunteered to coach. After extensive pursuing, Sherry finally agreed to date Curt and in just three short months the two lovebirds were married.
One of Sherry's greatest desires was to be a wife and mother. Curt and Sherry had a beautiful marriage for 27 years and raised four children Brad, Brian, Tim and Michelle. Sherry loved being a mother and desired to raise healthy, happy, God honoring children. She was always there for her kids and anyone who knew her. She was a pillar of unconditional love and acceptance. She lived for God, family, and loved family vacations, especially RVing in Colorado and Mexico. Sherry was blessed with seven grandchildren Cameron, Denver, Lily, Kaidin, Emma, Zachary, and Maddie all whom she loved dearly. Throughout her life Sherry loved the Lord and longed to spend eternity with her heavenly Father, and all of those whom she loved.

Linda Yates Celaya wrote on May 8, 2018:
"Sherry was my cousin and the first grandchild of Maude and Ralph Ellett living in Ajo Arizona. I just learned of her death and I am so heartbroken for her children, siblings and grandchildren. I know that she was a sweet loving person and her heart belonged to God. I send my love and condolences to her family and I want them to know that I will miss her dearly. I am so sorry for your loss and mine."
