Philip Michael Ginand

Philip Michael Ginand, age 86, passed away after a long illness on January 28, 2018.

Born January 13, 1932 in Aliquippa, PA, a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Joseph) Ginand. Mr. Ginand was a Corporate Director of Honeywell Information Systems and later an International Business Consultant for the French Government. He served in the Korean War for four years and was a journalist onboard the Battleship Wisconsin.

Survivors are his wife, Myrna Ginand, daughter Kathleen Smith and son-in-law Ronald Smith of San Tan Valley. Son Michael Ginand of Phoenix, and son Thomas Ginand and daughter-in-law Susan of Rhode Island, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, three sisters, Wanda Betters, Betty McCarthy, Bernadette Griswald and brother-in-law Rick Griswald of Alquippa, sister-in-law Vivian Ginand of Beaver Falls, PA and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ginand was preceded in death by a brother John Ginand of Beaver Falls, PA, sister Florence Betters of Newark, DE, sister Theresa M. Stotka and brother-in-law William R. "Bill" Stotka of Alquippa, and brother-in-law Bill McCarthy of Alquippa and sister Mary Ann Pandocchi and brother-in-law Bob Pandocchi of Baton Rouge, LA.

Visitation will be at 10: 00 am and funeral services at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Hansen Desert Hills, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale.
