79, joined our Lord on December 17, 2016. She was born on January 14, 1937 to Forrest and Genevieve Roach in Sioux City, IA. She met and married her high school sweetheart Eugene Burk. She was a librarian and did volunteer work at her church; enjoyed camping and traveling with Gene in their R.V. She was a strong, caring woman. Her family and friends were most important to her and she will be deeply missed. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Eugene; children Deborah (Brian) Vivian, Bradley (Beth) Burk, Bryan (Debra) Burk; grandchildren Tawnia, Travis, Garrett, Brianna, Aaron and Eliza; great-grandchildren Jayda and Jace. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix 85020. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 10:00 AM Thursday December 22, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central, Phoenix 85012.
