"My heart aches at the passing of my best friend, my sister from another mother. I lift prayers of comfort for all of Deb's family. I pray that God holds each of you close. I love your family and know that we have a lifetime of wonderful memories of Deb."
"Dear JoAnna and Stanley, My sincere condolences on the loss of Deb. I was thinking of her just the other week, and so was shocked to read her obituary today. It is never easy to lose a child, but I pray that your pain will, in time, give way to better times remembered and celebrated. For now, my heart is with you both. I knew Deb only a short time, but would like to think I was helpful to her and you in that brief period I cared for her a little more than a year ago. Be kind and gentle with yourselves. Carla Ownwomon, RN"
